When it's bad whether outside or I can't otherwise fly outside, there's lots of things I do to play around inside and at least practice my flying skills. Here's a quick video I put together showing three fun things I practice inside:

• Flying in the dark
• Hand launching & hand catching
• Flying figure eights
  

Of course you should always fly indoors with prop guards on, and you should disable obstacle avoidance, and maybe check your RTH altitude. I find these indoor exercises really help my overall flying outdoors.

Here are the things that I do with my drone when it's raining.  

1. Clean it.
2. Store it.
3. Spend the day in the DJI Forum.

I'm lucky that i don't live in a place that it's raining all the time.  There is plenty of time for me to head outdoors and fly.
