When it's bad whether outside or I can't otherwise fly outside, there's lots of things I do to play around inside and at least practice my flying skills. Here's a quick video I put together showing three fun things I practice inside:
Flying in the dark
Hand launching & hand catching
Flying figure eights
Of course you should always fly indoors with prop guards on, and you should disable obstacle avoidance, and maybe check your RTH altitude. I find these indoor exercises really help my overall flying outdoors.
