Went to microcenter bought the p4p plus for a great price of 1100 however I was originally looking at the mavic air. Did I get the better drone.

For $1100, I would say you did....was it a new p4p plus?

Yep brand new

I would say without a doubt yes, you chose the better option. Unless portability was your overwhelming deciding factor.

Definitely agree with your last comment. I now have both the Mavic Air and the P4P, and the little guy is getting waaaaay more air time now over the P4P. Such a pleasure to fly. For me, it's the camera vs portability - depends on which is more important on the day.

Congratulations! Take some practices, you will find the answer yourself.

I have both. The P4P has the superior camera, I got the mavic air as I'm asked to shoot things indoors and am much happier flying the air indoors
