I just received a new Osmo Mobile 2 today.  I am using it with an iPhone 7.  I’ve been testing it with no case on the phone; it is properly balanced.

I’m noticing the phone is heating rapidly when in the stabilizer and connected to DJI Go, and seems to be draining the phone battery faster than I would expect.  The Osmo’s motors are not warm at all.  I get the same heating result using Filmic Pro.  I am indoors in an air conditioned office.  My iPhone battery is in good condition.

My firmware version is 2.2.030, my DJI Go app version is 3.1.34, and iOS version 11.3.1.

Is this phone heating normal?  Any suggestions?

I am using an iPhone 6 with the OM2. I certainly get heating and rapid battery drain when connected to the DJI Go app mainly while recording video. I do not get so much heating and get much better battery usage with Filmic Pro

It is normal that the mobile phone will get hot, and it will cost 3% battery per minute when using Osmo Mobile 2 and the APP.
