I shot this video a couple of months ago. I went camping with the family and had a chance to fly the Mavic around and get a few nice shots. I also added some facts along the way to make it more interesting . The final shots were from the BOK Tower in Lake Wales. I hope tou like it

Nice video, I live about 10 miles north of this park, been there many times, just for future reference all State/County parks IE: Blue Springs, Gemini Springs, Kelly, Alexander Springs & Wekiva Springs in central Florida are considered a NFZ under FWC (Florida Wildlife Commission) as they are inhabited by many protected species of wildlife. Glad you were able to fly it without incident, fines are $ 1,000.00 USD, up to 6 months jail time and confiscation of the drone (Max Penalty). Just FYI for any future trips you might be thinking of.

I live in Tampa Bay and I've done a good bit of research on this because a good part of Central Florida is a State Park. It's not easy to find official rules on this, but basically, you are not allowed to take off from or land in Florida State Parks. There is no wording that I have seen regarding flying over state parks if you take off and land somewhere else.

Florida rules are changing all the time, but I believe the current rule is that the State sets the rules and that cities and municipalities are not allowed to set their own ordinances as of some time in 2017.
I think the best thing would be to try to find some offiical rules for the park that you want to fly in. If you can't, it's probably not allowed under State law.
