I have had for a long time showing my Country under my Avatar.
It's gone, don't know since when. Can this be activated/deactivated somewhere?

With some users it shows a country, with others not. Is there a system behind it?

Possibly a problem with their GeoIP provider, it have had issues getting updated but is now very lousy, new provider perhaps?
I did mention the problem you now have among other forum issues in this thread but newer got any response on that part of it. Lately i have suspected a lot of users was using a app or mobile browser to access the forum and that was the cause of the missing info?
