Can you plug the spark into a power pack like the type you would use to charge your phone to charge it?

yessir! I do it on the regular when I'm out.  If you want an upgrade from that, consider the Spark specific charger from DJI

Yes, the Spark is the only drone manufactured by DJI (excluding Tello) where you can charge it using a Micro USB cable.

You can use a powerbank to charge your Spark but you have to wait more than 3h to charge it. The Spark charger is 3 amps and the most of this powerbank they do not even reach 2 amps.

Believe me, it does not really reach 2 amps, just like the actual capacity of the power bank is much smaller, this is common in all the power bank.

Hi, all. Spark can use QC 3.0 charger to charge their spark. If your power bank has the same specs, you can use it to charge your spark.
