According to DJI you can not charge the battery and the controller at the same time.  As a computer repair tech, I noticed the plug and input look very similar to a Dell PA 12 (65 W) or a Dell PA 10 (90W) laptop adapter.  Any idea if it's compatible for charging the remote?  

Noticed that too (can't charge at same time). Am I only one curious why they would put them on one if they didn't want them charged together? Surely they aren't saving that much...

I been charging at the same time with no issues..  i didn't even notice it say you cant. But just do a voltage check on the plugs and your good.. the charger is just a power supply all the charging circuits are inside the p3 battery and controller

It makes no sense. Everyone knows you want to get everything recharged as fast as possible and get back out flying.
