Hi Guys,
I moved from Bepop 2, and really thought the Spark / DJI will have better video capability, It seems that panning is very fast, I found the gimball control but compared with the Parrot Bebop 2 software, the DJI Spark has a long way to catch up for better videos, it is not the hardware, it is just simply how fast the drone move when taking video's... Check the comptetion guys.

Have you tried Tripod Mode ?

When you say panning, you must mean tilting because the Spark's gimbal cannot pan (move sideways).  There are lots of examples of smooth gimbal movements in the videos on this forum, so it can be done. If you don't have the patience for it, perhaps you need a higher level drone with Expo built in.
