What's the maximum amount of videos and images you want to risk by sending them out flying again and again?

I would use the 16gb.  You can save your photos on computer or flash drive, reformat, then use multiple times.

Hi, Grimbarian. For Phantom 3 Standard, it supports a Micro SD card with a capacity of up to 64 GB. We highly recommend using a UHS-1 or class 10 Micro SD card to minimize the delay when reading or writing high-resolution images.

According to DJI spec "Video and Photo Storage The Phantom 3 Standard comes with an 8 GB Micro SD, but also supports Micro SD cards with a capacity of up to 64 GB. It is recommended using a UHS-1 or Class 10 Micro SD card to minimize the delay when reading or writing high resolution image files." I have tried with my 64GB U3 SD Card and it is unsupported. So be careful with selecting card for your self.

64 is more than you need. What happens if you lose it? I carry several 8G and 16G cards and swap them out with each battery just to be safe.
