Now I almost thought I've tried everything. I'm waiting for a couple of new USB cables that come with the mail one of the next few days. Right now, I'm having trouble with all the setup of the camera during initialization sometimes is not successful so all camera settings are set to default. There is a young person here who talks about that DJIGO4 might have a loose pointer in its code that causes random memory to be overwritten !!!
One thing surprised me though. How do I refresh FW on the Radio Controller ?
Leif, you can hold the three bars on the right upper corner for 8-10 seconds, a window will pop up, you can choose to refresh the RC,
As for the beta, do you refer the P4A, right? If yes, please kindly leave your DJI Account, I‘d like to help you get the beta and try later.

Well thanks Susan, I'm trying to refresh my RC and see what happens.
I'll just send my account to you via PM.
I hope we can go back to the old version firmware if the new one does not work for us.
Sorry for the late response. I have received your message in PM and will help you get the beta soon. It is estimated to be ready around 1-2 working days, please check later.

Thank you Susan. It will last a little before I update as I will just wait to check out the second problem. Is it possible to return to the old firmware if the beta version proves to be bad?
Update to the problem on camera setup in DJIGO4. Although I have purchased new USB cables, I still do not use them to really check if there is a problem with the old cables. For some strange reason, the problem that camera setup is not retrieved from the P4A is almost gone. I've only experienced it one time out of over near 30 times I've started the system up. In return, I have twice received an message about my battery on startup. "The battery has never been fully charted" and that's the original that came with my P4A. The battery has 54 chargings and DJIGO4 shows there is => 99% juice and a voltage > 4.26 per cell.

It is available to revert to the latest official firmware. Do you refer the battery charge issue? Is there any error message in APP?

Thank you for info Susan, I have not tried the beta firmware yet but will upgrade here this weekend.
I have not flown the last 4 days because of strong winds, rain and lack of time.
The camera setup errors have nearly disappeared since I refreshed the firmware.
There was no error message other than the one I saw in the DJIGO4 about the battery. Naturally, I turned off my P4A and turned it on again and the error message was missing. But the example shows that you must be more than skeptical about DJI's error messages, which is a shame. Another example is that you often get a strong wind warning even though the leaves do not move on the trees on earth !!!

That's all right. Please discharge the battery fully and keep it charging fully again to see whether it helps.
For the wind warning, does it appear on the ground or in the air? What's the estimated altitude?

No Susan, it does not help to charge a fully charged battery that has flown 50+ times.
Those strange messages about strong wind come when you're in the air. They come when you slow down from either horizontal or vertical speed. It does not matter if there is zero wind or an 1/4 pelican blows around the quad. But can see the message now has come in both an yellow and red version. It goes up and down with the messages depending on what version of DJIGO4 you are using, it has been reported so many times in forums that .......................................
I have updated my P4A with the new beta firmware. Have unfortunately only had the opportunity to two flights due to strong wind and rain the forgangene week. However, it should be better weather next week.

"it does not help to charge a fully charged battery"
I do think you might did miss half the reply, my guess is that Susan meant to perform the full cycle, perhaps the system can see not just how many charges we do but also when we fly to careful not discharging enough for too long.
"strange messages about strong wind" ... "It does not matter if there is zero wind or an 1/4 pelican blows around"
DJI really must have a hard time, in several threads they get blamed for the Advanced not having the same features as the Pro being an almost identical aircraft. Now the Advanced has got it all, Pano and useless wind warnings included, other owners complain ...
But yeah those wind warnings really is some of the most annoying crap that just keep getting in the way or distract the flying in others ways as the pop and color cycling top bar keeps changing.
Wondering if it would make more sense for the developers if expressed more like: "請盡量禁用令人討厭的高風警報,以防止風再次發生,或者如果它吹得如此之大,即使龍也喜歡呆在洞穴裡 !"
Best luck with your issues, hopefully you have got them solved by now, have a nice midsummer evening.

When I use the battery normally, it gets a full cycle. It's not because there's a bad cell in the battery.
I fully agree with that. It's good we have Litchi instead. Do not worry, I do not miss sensors in the back and the side which I still not trust can stop a crash anyway.
Those Chinese people do not understand that when you fly, you have to concentrate on that and not craisy messages that flying around your head.
Sorry, I can't read Japanese.
Here it still blows a 1/4 pelican from NV. It will first start laying down on Sunday / Monday. But thank you for your wishes.
