I just did my update to the bird and ios. I noticed if you move the left stick right to left (mode 2) the gimbal will follow the movement right to left. is this normal?

yep same here.

That's amazing!   I love bringing the arms down so I can see them in the shot and just how good a job the gimbal does to stabilize the image.
