I have just received the device today. Set it up and shot a video using it and left it to charged. Now after a while, give or take 3 hours, the device can no longer be powered on. No lights flash when I press the power button nor when I plug it into the charger. Basicaly a brick now. Is there a way to reset the device?

Hi Tony, I was using the charger that came with my iPhone 8 and the output reads 5V ==1A and I was using the cable from the box as well. Still no lights

Have you tried to plug in your Osmo mobile to the other power outlet?

Just tried another wall socket as you suggested, still no reaction... Really bummed out right now... Is there else I can try?

Sorry to know that, however since the Osmo Mobile 2 is brand new try to charge it first for at least an hour or 2 then check if you'll be getting the same result.

It's been on charge since I posted this except when I changed electric plugs, nothing happened... Is there a way to have it looked at in Berlin to fix it or change it somewhere?

Where did you purchase it? You might need to contact your reseller first if ever.

I bought it from the german DJI store online actually

I wanted to see if you tried another cable. Cables go bad all the time even brand new ones.

No problem and sorry about your issue. It just doesn't seem right that it doesn't get any power. Do you have a large electronic store in your area where they sell cell phones and cameras and stuff?

If so I would take your OM2 into the store and tell them you are trying to charge your device but that you don't know if your charging block is working correctly. See if they can help try a few other blocks to see if you get something to work.

The charger works with my phone though thanks for the advice! I would just talk with the support and see if I can get a replacement

Hi, sorry to revive an old thread but I am having the same issue. No lights, tried charging but the usb ports becomes too hot which I have to unplug and discontinue charging. Afraid that it might explode.

Having the same issue with O2- It's about 6 months old, I've used it several times with no problem. Now it won't power up,  one dot comes up for about 5 seconds then it shuts down- I've been charging the unit on my iPhone charger like have always in the past.
