Hello to all!  A little tip for you!  If you have an unused battery (not working anymore) you can dismantle the battery casing and remove the electronic parts inside then reinstalled the casing and your done, you have a fake battery acting as a cover for the connector and by the same time, keep the battery compartment away from dirt and dust!

Hope that help!

Cheers

Sorry to say, but to me this looks like a solution to a non-existing problem...

It helps keep the contacts clean of debris.  Anyone that travels a lot knows first hand that sometimes debris and dirty can get into places that makes no sense at all.  I actually had to clean debris out of the battery area of my Mavic Pro a few times when traveling. Either sand or crap found its way in while swapping batteries or while traveling.  Now I just keep a battery installed and it keeps crud out

Good idea I know the little rubber caps they make do not stay on.
I just leave a battery in it for now.

I just cover the connector with a small piece of blue painters tape, easy on easy off.

Ya no problem.  Always good to prevent a problem especially traveling.

Personally I just keep a freshly charged battery installed so even less time wasted getting it up in the air + doesn’t let crud work it’s ways into area is shouldn’t be.
