This is fantastic news, thank you very much DJI!

I updated CS5.5, so far I can see everything is working OK.
I took it out for a small test-flight.
It looks like the Ipad mini 4 with the v4.2.16.
The offline maps are back.
Even the OTG cable is working with the Spark.
The compass of the CS5.5 is still a bit jumpy, but I did not calibrated the compass again on the CS.

I did an update by the CS on WiFi.
It does not work for you ?

I did some more flying - 4 batteries - quick shots - active track - sport mode.
No loss of connection - all OK.
A very hot day over here - in the sun - no overheating.

Yep, the update has reached my CS as well. Will test tomorrow. But thank you for your testing - looks very promising.
One small bug discovered - when i try to rename the downloaded map Region 1 for anything else, then it comes to mistyping....

is there a firmware download link to go the SD card way rather than OTA (both for 5.5 and 7.85) ?

Hi dear friend, no download link. You can only update online.

Offline maps are back again.
Replay flight recording is working.

The on-screen keyboard has a small bug.
You have a big USB-port on the CS, this is a normal host port for mouse/keyboard.
Put a small/simple USB keyboard on this port, this will work for naming and renaming.
A big gamer-keyboard will maybe draw to must current or need a special driver.

If you want to change a existing file, click on the map-icon upper-right.
If you keep your finger on the file-bar, it will show: delete/rename.
If you click on the ">" you will see the map.

Wow, I didn't know about this. Sorry that I gave you the wrong answer then.

Yes thank you dji for your fast fix on the CS.

But please next time check everything out before you post us to download some thing that don't work with everything.This will save a lot of mix up's.

Have flied 3 batteries with updated 5.5" CS and Spark. OTG is working good, flight record is working good, offline maps working good, but only can't rename default Region1..... before and after saving.
So thank You DJI and please try not to spoil all good we have now during prepare of the next update

Awesome update

Yup, just flew 3 packs with the MA and 3 Packs with the P4P, everything worked well, had one App crash with the MA at about 300 meters out, just restarted and all was fine the rest of the day.

I get an error 800 failed issue.  I have the 5.5 what download above is what I need?

Go to your settings in the CS, scroll down, look for updates, tap check for updates it should tell you updates are available, the newest update is 02.06.06.00. Make sure you have a good Wifi connection.

I am letting it download the update but keep getting error 500 after it reboots to do the update.  There are 2 download links above but they are labeled differently.  Which one is for the 5.5 screen?

Just flew 3 batteries on a standard P4 with all current updates and here are the bugs I encountered.
1) Go4 app crashed 2 times
2) when starting Go4 app I got the msg “DJI GO 4 isn’t responding” at two different times
3) can’t name or rename offline maps
4) encounterd video lag a couple of times

well this is great I tried the download again now all I get is the DJI screen and just received this and got account set up.  I have not even had any flight time with this screen

is there any recovery mode for this?

I downloaded the update for my Crystalsky UB today directly from my Crystalsky main screen via WiFi and it then updated with no problems.  I flew two full batteries this afternoon - one after the other - in sunny 95 degree F Houston, TX weather with no problems. For the other lucky folks like me that were not experiencing overheating of their Crystalsky UB BEFORE the latest update, my experience today indicates that the latest firmware update doesn't screw anything up for us. I was flying today with my new DJI Crystalsky Monitor Hood installed, which helps keep direct sun off the screen. I don't need the hood to see the screen, but I thought it would help keep the screen cooler in direct sun as summer heat ramps up in the Gulf Coast of the U.S.  

FYI - Last week (before updating the Crystalsky firmware) I was in Phoenix, AZ with my Crystalsky UB outside in the blazing dessert sun (95F-100F) for 3 hours with no sun hood of any kind and never received a single overheat warning. I flew a total of four batteries over three hours. Shortly after taking off on the 4th flight in Phoenix, the DJI GO 4 app did freeze up, but after restarting the Crystalsky, the DJI GO 4 app worked just fine with no further issues.

I just looked how the links are crafted on the DJI official crystal sky page :

(hovering the mouse over the links in the firmware sections shows the full url address)

and then I "guessed" what the new fiel name should be... They just forgot to update the page yet, still referencing the old firmware version... which should be archived by the way in case for some reason need to go back one version...

I have already downloaded the latest software but the Crystalsky got hot in the process and stopped, I later resumed the download when it cooled down, my question is, can I re-download in an attempt to

I downloaded the latest software, it took two attempts because as I was downloading the Crystalsky got hot and shut down. When it had cooled I resumed and eventually succeeded. My question is can I re-download the software again in the hope I can do it in one go?
