Does this version of the app provide better controls of the zoom? I’ve had instances where I click n hold to zoom, stopping at near 30x and it goes all the way out to 180x, out of control?

Any drift?

zoom with Cendence and Z30 only works with the app DJI Pilot. You can bind 2 buttons for zoom in / out, when you press one of them zoom starts (in or out) and you have to press a second time to stop zooming.


Today my M210 was strong in the air, not any compas error, or any UAV drift, GPS was solid.
I've tried Z30 and the gimbal get a lot of drift in the air (even when M210 is stabilized). x180 zoom is far from usable (even without any wind). Next days I ll record my flights from Z30 and make more test to show you how much the drift is strong.

issue with z30 frame rates being recorded at lower than the set 30 fps remains. Big problem for me.

--planned mission flights on dji pilot still in progress. still a beta, it’s been a year or no. how is that the pro app by DJI? i also have GSPro where one cannot use the z30 zoom, so it is useless for my detailed inspections purposes. the amateur go4 has more features than the pro version. pity

in pilot with x5s and the 14-42 mm Panasonic lens, there is no indication of the zoom level - stays at 1x even if fully zoomed in (3x with the 14-42 mm panasonic). Also, the R reset button does not work with this lens.

no designated dials/assignable knobs for zoom control? can you show us a video if you can control the zoom with dials?

DJI go4 zoom level on panasonic 3x zoom lens is stepwise if you click the "+" dial on the go4 screen. if you use the screen slider, can move fast. otherwise keep clicking the +/- to get your zoom level.

--focus dial seems better with update of remote control (on m210). much better control of manual focal point.

zoom is much faster on new dji pilot vs. new dji go4. fine by me
go4 vs. pilot
