I noticed that the gimbal of my P4P+ cannot keep horizontal position, and needs to be adjusted even in the same flight, even though I calibrate the gambal every three or four days ( I can calibrate successfully every time). The deviation angle is always 0.1 to 0.5. If there is light wind (3-6 miles/hour), the gimbal deviation is more common.

Does anybody experience the same situation as me, and is it normal or not?
What's the reason?

I think her question was if you set the gimbal mode to FPV or FOLLOW.

A new problem. My P4P+ gimbal is tilted slightly to the left (as the camera sees) so all my pics and video have a horizon that's about 10 degrees off. I've tried recalibrating the IMU and gimbal. The problem is still there. Someone suggested that I hold the C2 button in and turn the camera tilt thumb wheel. I haven't tried that yet. As C2 is a customizable button and it is 'undefined'. Any suggestions?

Update: I looked at the possible functions to assign to C2. Nothing there that I can use to adjust the camera's horizon.

I have an issue with my P4P gimbal that tilts on the opposite direction to where I turn. The faster I turn the more it tilts (around 50° max). When I wait for 5 to 10 seconds, it gets level again.
I tried FPV or Follow mode. It has no impact. I tried to calibrate the gimbal. No issue reported during the process but no improvement either.
Could it be a configuration/software issue or shall I bring my P4P to my reseller?

Good news. A fellow flyer in the RCGroups forum that I frequent had this fix. DJI has a 'default' function for HOLDING the C2 button in. It allows you to use the right wheel to adjust the angle of the horizon. Even if the C2 function is unassigned, it will do this. You won't find this in the users manual.

Have you tried recalibrating the IMU and gimbal?

Sorry. I didn't read your post completely through. But, here's a link to the thread that I frequent, with some pretty knowledgeable folks there most of the time. Maybe you can get some assistance there:

It seems a common problem. I use Follow Mode, the problem still there and need to adjust manually. I will try whether C2-Holding works.

What I mean the flight mode. Was it set to P-mode, S-mode or A-mode?

I fly with P-Mode always. In Follow Mode, this phenomenon happens frequently and needs to be adjusted manually.

I am just wondering if your aircraft involved in a crash prior to this issue? If not, may you please update/refresh the firmware of your aircraft. Then, re-do the IMU and Gimbal calibration at the same time.

Thank you. Kindly place the aircraft on the level surface, as shown in the picture below. And then conduct gimbal auto calibration.

Put the craft nose up, leave it that way, and do an auto gimbal calibration? I didn't see that in the manual. What kind of issue does this resolve?

This is one of the troubleshooting steps that we can be done on the current issue that you are having. If this will not resolve the issue, I suggest to send in the unit to our facility for a repair. You start sending the request through this link, https://repair.dji.com/repair/index

I could be wrong but lately i have had the impression that the P4P during power up adjust the gimbal in relation to the takeoff point ignoring all kind of calibrations done on absolute level places. This saying that if the power on/takeoff place is out of level so will the gimbal be during the flight. think it should be easy tested but just did not have the time and keep forgetting until i see threads like this.
