Hey new to droning and filming in general,

Does anyone know if there is a quickshot mode that allows flying completely sideways? Basically flying left in a straigh line while camera is filming. Like a side scrolling shot?

There isn't a quickshot that does it.  You would have to do that manually.

When you do, please keep in mind that there are no obstacle sensors on the sides.

You might be talking about headless mode.  It's nicely described in the manual.

Yep, tap fly free would be best for this

If you have litchi you can use a cable way point. A to B in a straight line with a point of focus out front and the drone will fly sideways.
Just remember no side sensors.

Proteus, if I understand it correctly, you can try Tapfly mode.

Try TapFly "Free". In free mode, you can set your drone sidewards while it moves forward.
