Hi I have a mavic Pro that I have had sinse Christmas and today I went to fly it and the app is showing gimbal motor overload. It is saying to check the clamp. The clamp is not on. I cannot get the gimbal to move by the controller. Is this something that will require the unit to be sent in for repair? How do I go about getting this repaired?

Have you updated to the latest Firmware? I would update if not, if you have try refreshing the FW using Assistant 2

I upgraded to the newest firm ware. No change. It does not work. The gimbal does not even move when I turn on the drone.

I would open a repair ticket with DJI, sounds like a hardware issue especially if the gimbal does not self calibrate when you turn it on. You can do that here:   https://www.dji.com/service/repair?site=brandsite&from=nav
