Question regarding compatibility:

On the compatible camera list the GH5 is listed as being compatible for "pull focus with compatible lenses" then there are a list of "compatible lenses".

In many images and reviews there is a small (touch)display in the left side, kind of between the handle and the focus wheel - is this included or an accessory? And please, comment on the 699 dollar price? It's 607 EUROs to Swedish currency, not 749.

USA has a 7% tax that is added on the price if you buy it in a store and Sweden has a 25% VAT included in the price. There's your difference. If you buy it thru a company you are able to deduct the VAT.

I'm literally ready to buy @djigrace - how heavy is this? I cannot find physical weight of the gimbal anywhere.

The approximate physical weight of Ronin-S (handle+gimbal) is about 1.86kg, but its payload capacity is 3.6 kg (8 lbs.) while maintaining optimal performance

We will release the Focus Motor Lite very soon, DJI Focus is not compatible with Ronin-S.

No Fujifilm cameras support? Very disappointed! Was waiting this moment to buy  Dji Ronin-S but with no support for Fuji I can't anymore. Any chance to be added in a near future?

Anyone know how long it will take to ship? I ordered mine on 5.30.2018 and its been over a week now, 6.7.2018 and shipping is still in the pending process.

I love DJI, but this part bothers me. DJI likes to get new products to YouTube influencers first to get the publicity. Paying customers seem to be secondary. They are getting the review version, with final packaging, not the prototypes. I paid for mine the day it became available and my status is still pending.

Same here. I thought there was something wrong but what you just wrote answers all my questions. better late then never i guess.

I would like to know if there's going to be a case to store the Ronin-S when is mounted. Otherwise it is going to be a hassle.

When traveling with the gimbal it would be a hassle being to mount and dismount for transportation instead of having a case where you could store the gimbal with the camera already mounted.
something similar like Dji Osmo.

It’s a great method, it works for sales - can’t knock them for doing it.

You can’t easily account for various camera bodies, a case that would be snug (doesn’t move) and protect.

You could buy a duffel bag and line it with padding etc, run and gun style.

Very interested but as of today DJI web site says "Out of stock".      

Wonder how long before I can order......

Grace, can you tell us when the first products will actually ship? Also I  noticed that the iPhone X is not listed as compatible with the Ronin-S software. That would be a deal breaker for me. Can you comment? Thanks.

I'm afraid not, since Ronin-S supports many cameras and lens with different sizes, it is hard to design a carrying case with the camera mounted, sorry for the inconvenience that may cause.

Will the battery suck as bad as the Osmo?

I saw the video "App: Creative Functions" but I did not understand one thing: what is the maximum angular range of the panorama, 360°x... ?

Spec sheet is saying 12Hr battery life on the Ronin-S.  That's a lot of battery time!

"We are working on an external focus monitor" hmmm if only DJI already made a really nice bright screen in 5.5" and 7.85" variants that would be perfectly suited for this task...

BH managed to secure stock from DJi earlier.

They started shipping this morning.

Adorama won't ship till third week of July, even though they promised they would be able to meet BH regarding stock and shipping times.

Wasted my time ordering with them.

I am kinda mad, I ordered from DJI the morning they launched the orders at 6:30am...I better get mine before July.

I suggest your local authorized DJI retailer. I just stopped by my local store. They are scheduled to get a few units by Thursday so I bought one. I didn’t mind paying the sales tax since I had film dates that couldn’t be changed.
