Thanks sorry for late answer been in the garden testing different video settings.
Looks like I can ditch the DSLR and 3 Chip camcorders.
Osmo coupledwith mavic pro platinum lethal combination.

It looked really simple one end connected to mavic battery fully charged the other inserted into osmo which won't start? Must be missing something basic, I've done that a few times today.

Just got it, had to hold the battery test button down, I need a lie down now too much excitement for one day

Just to clarify, are we using now the external battery and checking the performance of the Osmo with this accessories?

Good morning yes using the external battery checking performance of Osmo
With a mix of record and standby (but active) it looked like about 3/4 hrs. Well worth the investment.

Thank you so much for posting this solution. I had my Osmo battery extender for two days thinking it was defective. It never dawned on me to double-click the button on the battery like you do on the Mavic to turn it on. Works like a charm now. Even though it is rudimentary information, it would have been nice if that information was in the extender's instructions sheet. It would have saved us both some distress.
