Thanks for the compliment. No auto-tracking, it's all manual.  Seems those features would be more useful in situations other than a fluid/dynamic race situation. But to be fair, I've never tried any of the auto-tracking features.  In the race I want to respond to quickly changing circumstances.

How coincidental. I used to work in the window world, with an industrious young man named Dave Weins, and that can’t be a popular name.

Great place to fly a drone for great footage, even without the cyclists..

Thanks!  No “Growler Mountain” around here. The name of the event is “The Original Growler”.  Growler refers to a 64 oz jug of beer. The race is 64 miles. No big leap for a mountain biker to think beer when seeing the number 64. Race is held at Hartman Rocks recreation area in west central Colorado. We’re 35 miles down the road from Crested Butte ski area. Thanks for the comment. No LUT or much color correction. Tweaked white balance, slightly increased saturation, added a bit of vibrance, and adjusted exposure slightly to make the clips match a bit better. Added a slight bit of sharpening as well. Did it in Adobe Premiere Pro using the Lumetri adjusting filter. I did consider trying a look but decided I liked it as it was. Oh, I did have a PolarPro 64ND-POL on the lens & was shooting around f3.5 or 4.5 at ISO 400 or 800 (depending on angle to the sun). The polarizer filter sure helped the colors.

We are so lucky to have this place in the back yard. It’s about 15 bike-minutes from my garage !

yes, it's a great sport. I'm a recreational rider - started when I was 61. I like being able to take it as hard or as easy as I'm up for.  Having a place like Hartman Rocks in my backyard, well, 15 minutes away by bike, makes it easy to stay riding.  Lots of people in this town live here because of that riding. I hope you can find a place or create a place to ride.
