Hi all.
I just bought and received a new Mavic Pro Platinum (combo pack) and received it yesterday.
I wanted to try it first, but it asked me for a firmware update, that i tried to do several times. i noticed that the drone was so hot i could not hold it. And it switched several times during update through wifi.
I decided to use DJI Assistant 2 to do the update. Was faster, and the update completed succesfully. Then after restart, the drone shut down with a red bkinking light on the rear. It was really hot again.
I do not want to try and fly it. I do not hear any noise from any fan inside the drone, so i imagine it is out of service, or stuck somehow.
I read on this forum that some people tried to update it and downgrade it several time. I managed to do that by putting my new drone on ice in some bags. But no change.
Any new ideas or suggestions ? As it is DOA, i am afraid i will have to send it back to DJI (the seller is doing his best to slow the process, but i am in the 7 days period...)
