I have a travel case that really protects the MP but it has an empty space at the top left:

Using a cheap laser engraver like https://www.ebay.com/itm/K3-1500 ... achine/142628733813 you can score the foam:

Just place it on top, draw a basic geometry and start engraving, in this case this is a round rectangle with a circle for the finger:

Some final adjusts with a knife, and the result is very clean! now I can store my microsd cards too:

You can even tattoo the name of your drone into the bag:
