Hey everyone!

Do any other spark owners own a 3D Printer? There are lots of things that can be printed for the spark. I would love a discussion with anyone about 3D printed accessories. I have been flying drones for years and only recently got into 3D printing/CAD.

So far I have made a gimbal/cam cover for the Spark and I just got done creating a stick guard for the controller.

I have attched a photo of a couple of stick guards I just made.

I am work on a custom one right now for a business that uses their Spark for filming cars at car shows. I will post a pic of that customers stick guard once it comes off the printer.

Lets talk about it, does anyone have any interest in 3D printed parts? Or is anyone making them themselves?

Here is a first draft for a customer. The area is actually too small, but I made it work.

Made some Spark Gimbal covers too.

Cool work man! Gimbal cover looks awesome try printing out a white stick protector i think it would go well with your skin! try making some landing gears! or Prop holders!

Thanks man. I appreciate you. I have made just about all the things you mentioned in a rainbow of colors. Even a range extender lined with copper tape for the wifi antts.

There didn't seem to be any interest here so I stopped posting pictures. Its nothing but "I lost my spark" posts. disappointing really.

Not Spark or drone related, but here is a quick 15 sec video of a skull I 3D printed. I think it is cool so I would like to share.

Yeah there has been a lot of that here lately people not checking before they takeoff if your trying to sell maybe checkout etsy.com!

Im familiar with the site. Thank you. I am not here trying to sell anything...just trying to get the ball rolling on a conversation of something other than "my spark fell in the lake" or "my RTH button didnt work"

I changed the propeller guard (it was the obstacle sensor)
I designed the tablet holder for myself, a similar existing aluminum model gave the idea, based on a photo)

This is very cool! I've recently done a research about 3D printing for a college project. One of the guys I visited made spark accesories. He even made a piece that allowed a water landing for the Spark. It's amazing all the stuff you can build with a 3d printer. Good job!!

I could absolutely make landing legs, but I like for everything to fit in my Spark shoulder bag. I have prop guards and I find my self not carrying them because they dont fit in the bag...bad design on DJI part if you ask me .

I am more interested in the floating legs. I may print some of those - not for water take off so much but just in case I am flying over water and need to make an emergency landing.
