Does DJI plan to make parts and batteries for the Inspire 1 available for the next 3 years? If not this 'end of life' sale is really not fair to new buyers. A few may buy in to cannibalise for spare parts but I would strongly encourage DJI to set aside parts and batteries to keep its legacy going.

They will continue to repair faulty units for a while though what 'a while' is remains unknown. I base this on the observation that they were repairing faulty LB1 airside units 2 yrs after they stopped selling them. And the user base of Inspire 1's globally is in the 10,000 range, far more than the LB.

No point commenting on transparency of the company.

FWIW, May be worth checking out the DJI store. DJI posted the they where running a promo/price reduction on the X5 series including the Raw (around $600 i think ). Not sure if the promo will feed thru to the dealers yet.
