Try not to let it go on Critical Low Level next time Mate ! It was very risky, you could have lost your drone.
I wonder the Quality of the Water in that Lake, hope you got a Good Shower after that swim Mate, as I see some dead fish floating 0min08secs on bottom left corner.
The Video Below could save you all the rush, when flying on / near Water. (Spark Floating Kit) Around $15 or less.
DJI Susan, if the Drone sinks in Water, and the User Cannot Recover it -
Does the DJI Care Refresh still cover that Drone ? Would DJI send a New Drone to the Pilot (Replacement) ?
I don't think so ?I think that why the Pilot jumped in the Water. Risking to catch an Infection in that Dirty Water.
I have seen many Youtube Videos, of Pilots losing their Drown after 'FlyAways' and risking their lifes to Recover the Drones, as the Policy says if you claim your Drone is Lost or Stolen, there cannot be a Replacement. The Drone is not Cheap to buy, but NOT Worthed Risking One's Life for a Recovery.
Some Example Videos of Desperate Drone Pilots risking their Lives -
Removed this Video (Because of Blood) but you can search on Youtube - ''Tourist suffers horrific injuries after falling off a 115ft cliff while going after his drone'' <- Cut and Paste in Search (Viewer Discretion is Advised - Blood / Injured Person)
I have also read you can slow the descent but have not tried.
During Critical Battery you can force it to Keep Current Altitude (Pushing the Throttle Stick Forward ) and use other sticks movements to Land on Safe Ground.

Forcing the Spark to Land at a Appropriate Landing Location during AutoLanding when Critical Battery Warning is Triggered
Here it is on the Manual -
It's not easy. I flew the Spark one evening and it took forever to descend (maybe the sensors can't see in the dark and slowed down?) by the time it came down the battery is drained, and it wants to land in the middle of the road. I pushed the stick up, it jerked up a bit then continue to descend. Thankfully it's very late at night, there's no cars - so I let it land right in the middle of the road.
Yep, the DJI Care Refresh covers water damage now. As long as the drone is retrieved and sent in, it is still available to claim under DJI Care Refresh.
