I've had the opportunity to visit a lot of Costa Rica. Despite being a really small country, it has lots of beautiful places, that includes beaches, mountains, waterfalls, rivers. Full of friendly people and a rich biodiversity, I promise you this country has to be in your bucket list.
I've just recently acquired my first drone (a spark), so I haven't had the chance to shoot a lot. But here's a video that shows a little bit of this amazing country, and I hope you'll be interested in visiting after you've seen it.
Basic rules for flying drones apply in here, there's really no much regulation for recreational use. There are large fees if you plan on using them for commercial fees, and you have to get a license. If you're using it for recreational use you must follow the main rules: not flying near an airport (less than 8km), not flying higher than 120 m, don't fly above crowds. Other than that, you're free to fly your drone and enjoy the awesome views that the country has to offer. Dry season is the best, which goes approximately from december to may. But the sun in here shines almost every day, so it doesn't mean that you can't fly in the rainy season. Drones are getting more popular nowadays in here, but still it's nothing compared to other countries, so there's a lot of unique shots and footage you can create, which depends on your creativity.
Hope you guys like this post. I promise you, you won't regret visiting this little country. I'll be happy to answer any question you have related to this beautiful place.
