Theorycrafting wanted.

Lets say I wanted to fly my spark 2000 meters, and when it gets there i want it to have the most battery life possible.  Will it have more battery life if I switch to sport mode and get it there fast at maximum speed, or more battery life if I take it slow on regular mode?

On one hand, sport mode would get it there quicker with less flight time. On the other hand, it would have to use more juice to fly faster.

What do you think?

Lets say it this way:
I can fly over 8000m of distance with one battery.
But only in sport.
Because in P, even with (theoretical) max 15 minutes calculated batt time (which is 12 minutes with using sport, mostly), you could get to 5000m all together, max
Do the math.

I'd say, you use a bit more battery over time in Sport, but save more time doing so to get somwhere.
Which leaves you with minimum as much time for P action at a location.

I have checked the total flying distance of my Spark with one battery (flying in circle so always Spark is within VLOS)
Sports mode - 4600m+ in 11mins
Normal mode - 1700m+ in 12mins

Hope it helps

Don't record video to save battery, too.
