You don't post the log, you post a link to it where it is.

Yes, your link in post #9 is correct. Unfortunately the log does not reveal anything to me, maybe someone else can spot what happened.

Yet another case of total loss of power. This is happening often lately.

Looks like another one of these mysterious P4 drops.  The battery could have popped out.  Can't say.

Sorry for your loss.

Good luck

Maybe it will turn up on the beach.  You need that internal card for DJI.

ok no prob, thanks for your help. The very last bit of info logged and recorded is how i saw it. I was flying it back at speed, the screen went blank as i was alternating my gaze between the screen and craft, i looked back up to see the craft drop like a stone in mid flight and so i drove home empty handed, simple as that. I wish it was pilot error as i would have no complaints in that case, this case i am left shocked as to what went wrong. nearly two years flying drones so plenty of pilot experience, this craft is (was) only three months old.

Without the drone, and possibly even with it, best offer from DJI will probably be 30% off another,

So, You checked and topped up your flight pack fully, before the excursion?

A feature that I like with the Phantom 3 series of aircraft is the two heavy lugs used for the aircraft / battery connection. It seems like a better designed, more robust and more reliable connection.

The battery was fully charged and still healthy when the data record stops.
The drone was in stable flight with no abrupt (or even subtle) changes in pitch, roll or yaw to suggest it was in trouble.
The data stream just ends which is usually indicative of the power supply suddenly being cut.
There's nothing there to suggest operator error in the way the Phantom was being flown.
If you could recover the drone, the internal data recorder might have more information that could be useful if it was a warranty claim.

I agree, and I suspect it is why P4 aircraft just drop out of the sky instead of P3 aircraft. The 'spade' connectors are better for high power, perhaps why the automotive industry has used them for so long.

Ngun, we're so sorry to read your post. Please kindly contact our support to start a case: https://www.dji.com/support Now that the unit is still under warranty period, we'll arrange data analysis to check the reason.

A with the P4 batteries if they are only partially dislodged the bird can lose power.
