I've been screwing with this new spark for hours.  I cannot get it connected and have tried everything.  I get all 4 red lights on the drone.  I have the combo back.  THe remote is green and seems to be connected but the drone is just a paperweight.  In the app everytime I hit enter device it wants me to connect it.  IT says disconnected on the main page.

Ive tried swapping the batteries,   charged at 100%.  I've used the assistant software and upgraded the firmware to the latest.  I even tried downgrading a release and get the same results.  This cant be the kinda product DJI releases right? Its complete garbage

switch the Spark off!
Look for the RC Wifi, Password 12341234, in your phones wifi app.
Connect RC and phone and after start the Spark
If that works, change the password 12341234 (maybe even the Wifi SSID) via app
It seems to happen that the app is complaining about a weak password, if unchanged!

Did you do a Firmware Update first ?

1) Check all the Firmware is Up To Date by Connection to the DJI Assistant 2 on your PC.

2) Turn Off Both Controller, Spark

3) Remove the Wifis from the Phone.

Start Over Again. I will send you 3 Tutorials to Follow.

I tried that and I think it may have worked. I'm updating the firmware again and will post back soon.

Yes, you must properly turn off the Spark each time.
You can't just pop out the battery (emergency only, yes)
If you do, you will need to return that battery and attach it to the system to properly turn off eventually.
