Yes, you can enable this.
Be careful there is room to fly backwards behind the drone. No object detection.
Many examples online of this going wrong (flying backwards in active track when there was something in the way)

Don't enable Backward Flying if there are Powerlines and Trees or other Obstacles. As Monti told you the Spark does't have Backward Obstacle Avoidance Sensors.
