Ive searched and searched and cant find any recommendations for a 128gb microsd card for the platinum. I know theres plenty of forums out there including this one but they only talk about the mavic pro which by DJI standards should only hold a 64gb max. Any info would ne greatly appreciated.

For the MP and MPP you need a card that can write 60Mbps.  There are quite a few options out there and yes 128Gb card work.  However not all cards do write what they are advertised to so best to look at some benchmarks for the online.  It is the MA that writes to 100Mbps that one really needs to ensure the card will be fast enough up to those speeds so less options for the MA.  

I went and ordered the 128 GB samsung u3 and the 16gb that came with the mavic, I'm just gonna use for the spark. I dont use the spark as much unless I'm at home cause the noise tends to get it unwanted attention.

Attention! For Mavic PRO Platinum (and above) Any SD card greater than 128GB  could be used, as long as it is properly formatted with ext-FAT.
I'm using a 200GB with a Mavic PRO Platinum without problem...
