As a freelance videographer with a passion for travel, a drone was probably the best addition to my current list of equipment.My drone of choice - DJI Mavic Pro - the perfect compact drone that's super easy to travel with, conspicious (only stopped once at airport security in the UK and they just wanted to see all content) and offers excellent quality both for video and photo!

Tips for travelling with a drone:

- ALWAYS check drone rules for the country you'll be travelling
- Apply for a permit when required
- Always pack the drone in you hang luggage and do not take more than 2 spare battries (give the rest to a friend/partner)
- Fly with batteries aroun 50% then fully charge once you get to your destination
- Scount an area before flying - check the surrounding for any obstructions, get a better feeling of a suitable return to home altitude and make an safety plan in case anything goes wrong
- Pre-flight check list (props, battery, gimbal cover, sd card and most importantly weather conditions)
- Obey the local rules and never fly on top of people or private property
- Know/imagine what kind of shots/photos you want before flying - ex: hyperlapse or birds eye view or push/pull in
- Use (with caution) intelligent flight modes they make your life very easy and you can capture some amazing shots
- Go easy on the stick - avoid any fast/sudden turns for more cinematic footage

Settings:
- I personally shoot in 4k for more quality using Dlog and + 1 sharpness, - 2 contrast & - 2 saturation as I like to colour grade every single shot.
If you don't want to color grade as much I'd suggest using D-Cinelike or normal with +1 sharpness and 0,0.
- I always shoot photos in RAW as I'd like to edit my photo before uploading and when it's super sunny I like to use the AEB mode which takes several photos with different exposure values (similar to HDR)

Morocco (drones are illegal so it will be staying at home)

I also think I should buy such a drone.Thanks for tips how to hang up with drone .
Only replace the standard camera with a more powerful one.

DJI_0072-2 was at around 80-90m and DJI_0038 was slightly higher I believe somewhere around 100-140m.

It's always nice to experiment with different heights and different angles. You don't always need to fly extremely high to get those epic shots. I still haven't taken my mavic higher than around 250m yet and that was once to get that shot of the whole city(Valletta) !
