You are flying happily over your front yard and, as you said, nothing happens until 5m 12 seconds when you raised your drone up to 38 metres while just 5 metres away from home point over your garden.
Hey Marek6.
You were 100% correct in your analysis.
You are indeed a real expert !!
Refer to video footage of phone, audio and HD footage. Phone was connecting and disconnecting and only bits of phone video available. Missing frames and loss of WIFI connection between phone and RC and it took some time to try and sync the two videos.
There were indeed a light breeze in the direction the AC was going.
See cropped photo taken during the same flight.
My problems have been solved by downgrading the phone apps to an earlier version two days after the incident based on experiences of other pilots on this forum.
I only had some many, many great flights since then.
Thank you again for your and the other pilots assistance and inputs
Were very lucky indeed.
Apart from really enjoying flying the AC I just love this kind of technology and all the addition things that one learn in the process.
It may sound strange but this is giving me stress relief.
My Spark is still alive and well.
Down-graded the Android software to 4.2.8 on Galaxy J5 with extended internal memory and removed bloatware from phone.
Installed latest firmware.
Still flying in the same area when I'm at home.
See flight pattern for today.
Thanks for sharing and your analysis. Delighted that you were able to recover the flight and that your Spark landed safely. A lesson for everyone here I think. Chris
