I'm using a Galaxy J5  (Android version 6.0.1 Marshmallow)

Hi,

To me it was something like this:

4.2.12 and 4.2.14 with phone only - all good
4.2.14 with RC - lag issues
4.2.20 with RC - lag issues and files not saving on phone
downgraded to 4.2.12 with RC - some lag issues (to be tested) but still not saving images and videos on phone

It is definately not saving, I have searched everywhere :/

Try the following for the bad quality of video feed:

1. Clear all background App before flight.

Reducing cache to 1G actually worked, it is now saving properly.

It even pulled in the photo of yesterday from the drone that was not showing in the app before.
Though lag is still bad (3-5 seconds) but video quality is a bit better.

OTG works spot on though so the issue must be between the remote and the phone.

Have not tied 4.2.12 or 4.2.14 . Maybe other pilots could comment on this.

4.2.8  has to dated given me very stable results. - 7 full battery flight to date with no issues at all. I also put the phone in flight mode to ensure that it only dedicated to the RC and App.

What is your available internal memory on your phone?

Hi,

I think the issue was that the card in my phone is 1.88G only, probably that's why selecting 2G was not working - I am using cache to SD card.
Internal free memory is about 1G too.

To me 4.2.12 with OTG is good so far, qith wifi only is is poor. I will try other phones soon and will see.
