I'm trying to balance my Sony A7RII with the Sony FE 55mm 1.8 and the I cant get the tilt access even close. In the first step, when it says to point the camera straight up then adjust the tilt acess, I have it pushed beyond zero and the set up still falls forward when I let go. Is it even possible to balance the Sonys with a small lens on them?
I added the riser plate and it still wasn't quite enough to keep it from falling forward, but I added the lens support to the front of the lens and it added just enough weight. Thank you.

Glad to know the issue has been figured out, hope you have a great time on shooting.
I had such a problem. The trick is to mount the additional plate so that you can shift the camera all the way to the side opposite of the lens while mounting on Ronin.
Please check if you insert the plate with a correct side also.
Hi there, sorry for my late response because of the long holiday, may I know if the issue persists? Could you please try Jesaul's suggestion to see if it helps?

Hi there, may I know if you mounted the riser plate? Please make Auto Tune after balancing and check the balance status in the APP, thank you.
