Since updating to latest firmware I can't workout how to get the little square on the app up to view Dlog in rec709...

Does anyone know if it's still avaivble in new firmware, or how to get it back on the app?

The Inspire is firmware is latest V01.02.0100

I didn’t even know this existed! Is it only available with the SSD installed or is it available all the time when DLOG is selected?

It's always come up on my app when i'm in log, i don't know how to get it back, I can't find it anywhere in the menu, I guess wait for DJI to reply....

So when this was working it would apply the LUT over the image as received on the iPad? So any changes to exposure, etc would accurately be displayed and recorded?
Interesting that it disappeared, sounds similar to the anti flicker options that was once available but now has disappeared for the inspire 2

The latest firmware on all devices, Crystal Sky, Ipad, Iphone x... v4.2.21 on phone all the others updated as well.... can we work on replying in under 24 hours?

I have the same problem. Inspire 2 with crystalsky. When recording in DLog the little square  “Lut” option is no longer showing. It was very helpful so you could see a normal image. But when i conect my controller with ipad is still there. Please help!

Indeed, I should too. We need it a lot.

I have the same problem.

Inspire 2 with x5s camera when shooting D-Log.

I dont have LUT option on my CrystalSky 7,85 inch. All software is the latest.

Will this be fixed? this is a pro equipment and since the crystalsky is so bright it is impossible to shoot in d-log its all grey.

Any news on the fix update?

Is there any update with this? How are people supposed to operate the X7 camera like this???

no update with x7. Same problem no LUT. So you are still looking at ultra flat image when shooting log.

you can get around it if you set the h264 to be NOT dlog. and keep the ssd in dlog. but its not the best work around.

Still no update DJI? This is necessary on all my shoots.

Welcome to the zoo man. DJI stuff is great until it doesn't work, and they don't do customer service well. If your problem doesn't fall inside their manual for troubleshooting, you're screwed. I dumped a ton of money into an I2, x7, all codecs, and lens suite. The last two firmware versions do not detect my SSD drives - no matter how many times I downgrade/upgrade the firmware. I spent a very frustrating 2 hours working directly with their support. Their answer - reformat my computer..... my f'n computer.

At my place the LUT box is still available (see picture).

Bump. It’s absolutely absurd that this was posted almost 2 years ago and still no fix, DJI Go 4 seems abandoned at this point, between this massive issue and it not even fitting the screen of iPads that came out almost 18 months ago idk what DJI is doing. The Inspire 2 is way too high a caliber of product, something professionals rely on, to just have flight affecting problems go unresolved like this while basically giving pilots the middle finger

Shooting in D-Log on the i2 is still a guessing game without being able to see in rec709, especially when piloting in bright sunlight. Why is it that D-Log has the LUT switcher square show up perfectly fine when flying the Mavic 2 but not the Inspire 2? Seems like once the M2P came out the i2 hasn’t seen any fixes for its multi-year strung out issues, and meanwhile the price of the i2 and accessories has only increased since its release...

Can someone from DJI please chime in about all this?

Yes, it is tragic that they don't care to fix the issues with the Inspire 2, their "professional" drone. It is an embarrasment for DJI, and a lousy what to treat us customers who have invested so much money in DJI.

I agree with you that being able to toggle the 709 LUT would be very useful, but you must agree that judging exposure on a waveform, ESPECIALLY in high contrast scenarios, is much better when viewing the LOG. I work in the camera dept. for film and TV, and this is pretty much the only way we judge exposure on digital cameras: toggle LOG from the camera, and look at it on a waveform or false color. I don't think this issue is preventing us from exposing properly, but it would be good to know where these values fall in 709.
