Hey Guys,

So, i wanted to fly with my Phantom3 Professional the first time.

The Problem: After starting the Motor, the rotor-blades are rotating for a few seconds and stop automatically.

I tested this with the "manual" Start (both Joysticks in the corner) and of course with the "Auto Start" in my PilotApp.

I think the right (down) Motor is the reason.
It looks/feels/sounds like the Motorscrews are to "hard" inside the Phantom?!

Could that be?

Any Ideas?

Thanks a lot!

One if you arm the motors and do not take off within 3 seconds then the motors will shut down.  That is programmed into the system.  The right rear motor does seem to lag a little.  Have you flown it?  How does it fly?

Really?  I am running 1.1.8 and I can arm the motors on my Phantom 3 Pro and the motors idle for minutes on end.  The motors definitely do NOT shut off after three seconds unless I hold the throttle stick down for three seconds.

You should be able to arm the motors and they will idle until you shut them off.

    Hey,

    thanks for your answer.
I put all those screws out of the motor, and what a surprise, it works fine!
After putting the screws 1/2 inside, the same error reappears.

I checked the "motor-position" and remarked, that the motor is a bit off-center.
So i put the both "front" Screws inside and it works fine.

Now i could fly with 2 of 4 Screws on this motor-side, but i am not sure.

    Do you recommend a replace?

    Thank you.

Check to see if the screws are all the same length. Could be that a screw is too long and touching something. Inside the motor.

The Point is, that i manualy rotate the motor with my hand (all screws are outside) and i feel, that its "harder" to spin the motor..
I think, the motor is blocked by smth..

Any Ideas?

Hey,

    thanks for your answer.

There are two longer screws that are used with the Prop Guards.  Is it possible someone fit prop guards on your P3 and then put the wrong screws back?
