My experience is the following: (DJI Mavic Pro Platinum - DJI GO 4 . v4.2.20, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 - Oreo)
I moved from Android 7 to 8 and DJI GO 4 auto updated to v.4.2.20 presumably on the same day.
Anyway, one thing is sure, some seven days before the change my drone system worked flawlessly.
Thanks Berkes for your feedback. I really rather DJI compare the feedback between the current and recent last few versions. For one, I don't like the fact when you select the settings button in the DJI GO 4 Application it now takes a few seconds to load up the screen, and when it's loaded up it looks like the font got bigger and it's larger than the rest of the font in the application, as before everything was more uniformed and snappier, which gave the impression that the application was air-tight safe. Now it seems buggy, slow, and bloated. Hence, the reason for the video being overly choppy in poor viewing condition.
My suspicion for these problems has to do with the addition of Phantom 4 Pro v2.0. It appears the MORE models DJI adds to the market it causes the application to have MORE numbers and data to process. Given there is an upcoming announcement on July 18th where presumably DJI will unveil the Mavic Pro II, I can only imagine the problems for Mavic Pro owners will increase. This makes for a convenient opportunity for DJI customers to upgrade. I hope I'm wrong but it's sure looking that way? |
