I purchased some Prolar Pro cinema filters for my new Mavic Air and ran into trouble.

I was able to remove the stock gimbal uv filter but the glass stayed on the camera. I found this strange because no matter what I do, I cant thread on the new lenses on.

I am guessing the stock lens glass is causing my issue.

Can anyone else confirm if their stock glass stays on the gimbal and swapping out ND/PL filters?

Stock glass is the camera lens.  The plastic ring  you unscrewed contains no glass.

So strange.

I bought two filters from different vendors and both won't thread on.

This should be dead simple.

Quite a number of us have the Polar Pro ND filters and they fit perfectly. Maybe you can post pictures illustrating your particular problem?

Nevermind, I just figured it out. I had no idea these filters had the ability to be adjusted. I was spinning the polarization piece, not the part that threads onto the camera. Duh....

I have Skyreat filters for my MA and they fit quite well.

Hi. Good to know that you are able to put in the filters on the DJI Mavic Air. Just a reminder we recommend our Drone owners to purchase the original DJI accessories for compatibility. Thank you.
