An old canal that runs between Apeldoorn and Hattem called the 'Apeldoorns kanaal'
It was ready (dug by hand) 1868 and used until 1961 mainly for when the river IJssel (that runs parallel) had too little water.
There are 6 locks that span about 9m in water level (and keep the water in the canal ) so smaller ships could 'always' use this canal.

Nowadays it's many bridges are fixed and there are some other obstacles (like the highway) that make this canal nothing more than a nice piece of water that is a good subject to take pictures of.

That's very true - it will still say pano successful then you get home and stitch it and it looks like the sphere has been hit by an asteroid lol

Yes!
Most of my pano's are manual anyway.
I have made a lot of them from the ground and like to take the images myself so I know where to begin and stop. Saves me a lot of HD space and edit time
An old habit from when SD cards were small and expensive

I just throw them all into DJI media maker and it usually works though the MA does a great job in auto stitching them. I don't have the patience to edit extensively.

Never tried that one so far.
I am used to doing it myself, but recently have lost my 'test version' of Photoshop because I switched to a new laptop.
I now have Affinity Photo, but in the panorama part they do not match Ps.
Now I am trying AutoPano.

Download media maker from the Osmo section mate - it does rather well and it can do time lapses too.

Do a pano then put them all onto your desk top and drop them from the DT to MM and it will stitch them automatically- The detail is very good. 360's obviously take a lot longer

Yes, I will try that.
My habit is to delete all the original images once I am done.
Again from the time where my HD was limited in space.
(oh wait, I now also have a full HD.....)

Me too - they take up way too much space once the edit and stitch is done anyway.

With the overlap, it is about 1/3 more space at least.

For sure - I've set the MA to discard the pano images once stitched - nice little feature if I just want to use the pano from the drone.

I have not seen that either.
But I have not dug into it so far.
