Does anyone know if the P2 car battery charger will work on P3 batteries? I'm assuming not?

No. Input/output is completely different with the new batteries so I don't think so.

I have been thinking about doing the same thing.   Do you own this model or do you have another?  The next question is what is the best size to run two chargers?
