Hey guys, I am wondering if anyone has designed or found a remote controlled release mechanism. I would like to carry items and release as will using a controller. Any suggestions? Currently I am using a down rigger with a release upon tension which works okay but this method does not allow me to release at will. Any ideas?

hello. I made a confetti dropper a while back.

I made what looks like a clamshell drigger bucket with a small spring added to give tension when the futaba servo was activated  

it was made from laminated cardboard and lolly pop sticks for rigidity

w 4" H 6" L 10"

I'm looking for an electronic latch of some sort that can be remotely triggered to open or close. I would rig it so I can drop something. Looking for ideas or latches that would work.
