The magic altitude for e spark is 393 feet or 120 meters.  At this height the spark will fly the farthest.  Try it.  It is amazing.

Hi. Thank you for the information.

First of all, I guess you're basing this on a no wind situation?  And if you've always flown legally and maxed at 120 meters, how do you know that 200 meters might not be even better?  I'd just like to know what you're using to make this judgment...imperical data or just a gut feeling.

I have the proof.

Range on the spark is terrible with just little obstacles, houses and what not, but in large open space it manages ok, no way near the parrot bebop2 though.   Remember this is phone only, no controller

well thanks for the information but there are no the best altitude cause it depends on the environment sometime low shot look great as well

In windless conditions yes, you'll tend to get the best signal as max flight altitude.
