I never seen this type of racing. Video is good but too long, there isn't a complete circuit of one car and for me music is repetitive. Thanks for sharing.

we passed by a drift event a couple months ago on the way to the beach and I was tempted to put the mavic up, but decided I wanted to get to the beach more.

I was there with my friends. A few of them took part in competitions. I was an observer

A new sport for me, but I liked your "drifting"  passes over the action, mirroring the movement of the cars. Great job.

Nice changes of speed in the second video too.

Thanks, I'm also of that opinion. Combining shots from the drone and from the ground gives a much better effect. I used a few additional effects of speed change and RGB discoloration, which made it look better.

I'm not sure what kind of video u aimed for but in my experience cars are way too small and distant and this makes the scenes unexciting. You often fly in the opposit directions in rrlation to car movement and it makes little to no sense most of the times. There are repetitive scenes abiut the surroundings and this makes the video long and boring. Also scenes are badly organized, if you tell a story think about the way you want to show things in a cohesive way. The music might be personal but for me is just a big yelled no, repetitive and doesnt help to keep alive the viewer attention. Exposure and color looked ok.
These are my two cents and a personal opinion but i thibk i learned a thing or two this year on rally and drifting drone filming.

Thanks for your observations. As I mentioned, I did it in a hobby, it was my first time. Of course, I also see the imperfections of which I intend to draw conclusions for the future. All advice is very welcome.

Ps. does your statement concern the first or second film? Or maybe to both.

I watched the first video only.
I want to add that you were in a pretty open space with little to no obstacles, you could surely try to anticipate cars in the curves and track them while drifting.
Just mind the people around the circuit and you should be fine.
The best shots are usually those filmed from the inside of the curve not the external one, also try to film cars in the slowest parts of the track as your drone isn't nearly as fast as they are, not even the inspire 2 can cope, I know better

I know that close-up shots would be more fun, but it was the first time. I did not want to destroy the drone. On the next occasion I will try to capture amazing moments from a shorter distance.

Great videos, thank you very much. The only thing I did not like were the black screen transitions in the first part of the first video.

A tip, record in 4k and zoom in digitally 2x to deliver a more or less crisp 1080, also shoot 50 or 60fps with a minumum shutter of 120-150 of a sec, if you go really close go to 200, cheers

Thanks for the tips but Mavic Air unfortunately at 4K records max 30 fps. I recorded in 2K 60 fps resolution, unfortunately at a magnification above 20% the quality falls. Actually, I did not take into account the manual settings and the picture was too bright on the automatic settings which also affected the quality. Human learn by his mistakes
