The final picture from this serie around the drawbridge nearby Oene was taken from some distance.
This showed the ditch that runs to the 'Grift' (a small waterway that runs parallel to the channel ).
This 'Grift' is even older than the channel itself and was dug out in the 14th century to de-water the land it flow trough.
(hence this ditch)
When seeing it in my screen I thought it would make a nice subject for a pano since it would appear as a dark line that was running in some kind of a circle (in reality it is more straight)
I thought it would make for a nice composition with the other elements in the frame
