Good morning all,

Ordered a p4p of ebay on friday from the USA and was here in the uk on Monday

I want to learn to fly the drone and later get the uk CAA Pfco course and last night i did a small 3 min flight ouside

Do i need to cover the drone from day one incase i hit something or someone or damage the drone?

what companies do people use in the UK?

I guess i need about £3000 cover for the drone and bits replacement and the standard 5 mill cover

thanks

james

Hi James,

Hobbyist cover is pretty expensive but you can get it for when you need it through Coverdrone and Flock. You will just have to get it for each flight.

I've only useed Coverdrone but Flock seem to be getting a lot of attention.

Where are you based? I did my PFCO with these guys and would really recommend them https://www.heliguy.com/

Cheers,

Mike.
