Hi guys.

I'm heading to a boat party and was wondering to take the MA with me.

Based on that, I was doing some experimental tests, hand catching, hand landing and changing the RTH to where my RC is and not the stands RTH.

However, each time I selected the option it says, ”not enough satellites or weak satellite signal” and does now allow me to change.

For reference, I was on land when I tried and already flying up high.

(The compass was already done before starting the flight and home point defined)

Any comment regarding this matter?

I remember in other occasions by curiosity swapping this option without major problems, but then it came the FW and you all know the rest...

Any help and advise is very welcome.

Hi Obrigado, we are sorry to hear that you are experiencing this inconvenience. However as of the moment we do not have dynamic home point settings for Mavic Air.

Just to be sure, this works if your Android Mobile Device has its GPS enabled.
If GPS is disabled you get indeed the message as you described.

For IOS devices it doesn`t work, this is what i have read on this forum.

That's explains a lot.

I start flying in airplane mode, so everything is disabled.
However, I remember myself choosing this option before.
How safe is it?

On my android phone Airplane mode to off keeps the GPS locator on.

Is it safe, yes. And if you set the HP to new setting (using your Phone LatLon data thus RC postion) you can check if the new setting is correct on the map.

So give it a try and get some faith in it.
