I like the first one you posted best because it protects the drone.
Security would have to be very important.
I can see these things getting hijacked once people realize what's in them.

     The idea is good but the design may not work for distance flights.  The Quad/Winged designs would work better for distance flights and still use the launch/retrieve pedestals.

I don't know if anyone got any "official" confirmation.
He was posting almost every day and the fact that he hasn't posted anything since December last year is not a good sign. I know if he could post he would.
