So this past 4th of July I flew my Mavic pro to capture the local fireworks show by my house. The previous years shows were recorded with a Phantom. Close to end of show I got a little too close for the Mavic and the gimbal freaked out on me and did a reset mid air. Never had this problem with phantom but now I know never again stick to Phantom lol.. Footage being edited now, I will post link when done.

NO , i was not as close as it looks. Gimbal reset because of shock wave from fireworks.

Yeah the best part is I can see the show from my bed..
First time I ever had a gimbal reset, but i know what cause it pretty quick and kept calm.

Nice video partner!!! I recorded the whole show myself but decided to chop it up.. I have a problem staying still, I like to see how close i can get..

Thank you   And yeah I did not want to get close.  I just put mine up in the air and recorded except the one part where I centered the fireworks.  I was very cautious as it was as that was my first flight after upgrading the firmware to the new .400 so was not going to try anything fancy especially at night.  

I have had a gimbal reset happen just once and I was in sports mode and did a sudden stop so for sure that caused it so similar thing here caused yours.  Would not worry about it and again very nice video.
